1. Safety Precautions: - Before first use, read the entire manual carefully and keep it for future reference. - This appliance is intended for household and similar use only (apartments, houses, offices). Do not use it in industrial or outdoor environments. - Only place the fan on a flat, stable surface, away from the edges of tables or shelves where it could fall. - Do not use the appliance near sinks, bathtubs, swimming pools, or other containers containing water. Do not allow the housing to be splashed. - Do not insert fingers or other objects into the fan grilles. Do not allow children to play near the appliance while it is operating. - Route the power cord so that it will not be stepped on, caught, kinked, or come into contact with sharp edges or hot surfaces. - Do not cover the appliance with fabrics or other items that could restrict airflow. - The fan may be used by children over 8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities only under supervision or after having been instructed in safe use. Children must not play with the appliance. - Cleaning and maintenance must be performed by children only under adult supervision and if they are over 8 years of age. - Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply: a) before assembling or disassembling the base, b) before cleaning or maintenance, c) when not in use, d) during a storm or extended absence from home. - Do not modify the appliance or open the casing. Have any repairs carried out by a qualified technician. - Do not use the fan if: a) the casing is damaged, b) the power cord or plug is damaged, c) the appliance has been dropped or has been subjected to strong shocks. 2. Warnings: - Warning: risk of electric shock. a) Do not touch the appliance with wet hands. b) Do not pull the cord to disconnect the plug from the socket – always hold it by the body of the plug. c) If water or other liquid gets inside the device, immediately disconnect it from the power supply and have it serviced by a qualified technician. Do not restart without checking. - Warning: hot surfaces. a) The motor and parts of the housing may become hot during prolonged operation. Do not touch the air intake openings for extended periods. b) Do not place the fan in direct sunlight or near heat sources. - Warning regarding the batteries in the remote control: a) Always keep batteries out of the reach of children. The button cell battery can be swallowed – in such a case, consult a doctor immediately. b) Do not recharge lithium batteries, do not throw them into a fire, or short-circuit the terminals – there is a risk of explosion or leakage of the electrolyte. c) Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types. d) If a battery leaks, avoid contact with the electrolyte. In case of contact with skin, wash the affected area with soap and water. e) Replace exhausted batteries immediately with new ones and take them to an appropriate collection point – do not throw them into municipal waste. - General warning: a) Do not leave the fan unattended when operating, especially in the presence of children or animals. b) Do not use the device near flammable gases, vapors, or materials (e.g., aerosols, solvents). c) If you have any doubts about the correct operation of the fan, turn it off immediately and contact a qualified technician.
