Then flatten the opening. -When vacuum sealing a large item, gently stretch the bag flat before placing it in the vacuum chamber to prevent creases in the seal. -When vacuum sealing items with sharp edges, such as dry spaghetti or cutlery, protect the bag from punctures by wrapping the item in a soft cushioning material, such as paper towel. You can use a container instead of a bag. -When using containers, always leave 2.5 cm / 1 inch of space at the top of the container. -Let the appliance cool for 1 minute between uses to avoid activating the overheating protection. -If you are not sure whether the bag has been properly sealed, reseal it. -For best results, use bags and containers recommended by the manufacturer. -Do not reheat food in a tightly closed bag or container in the microwave. Open the bag or open the container lid before reheating. Only use microwave-safe bags and containers.
