1. Before installing and using the appliance, please read the instruction manual. 2. This product is intended for household use. 3. This heater is intended for indoor use. Do not use it outdoors! 4. Only connect the appliance to a socket that matches the plug on the heater. Socket and power requirements: 220-240V, frequency 50-60 Hz. 5. Avoid installing the appliance behind a door. 6. Only use the voltage indicated on the heater's rating label. 7. Do not cover or obstruct the airflow to the ventilation inlet or outlet in any way, as the appliance may overheat and create a fire risk (applies to fan-assisted heaters). 8. Do not cover the ventilation grille or block the air inlet or outlet by placing the appliance against any surface. Maintain a distance of at least 1 metre from the front and sides of the appliance. For wall-mounted appliances, maintain a distance of 1 metre from the rear of the appliance. WARNING: THERE IS A RISK OF FIRE IF THE HEATER IS COVERED OR PLACED CLOSE TO CURTAINS OR OTHER FLAMMABLE MATERIALS. 9. Do not place this appliance near sources of radiant heat. 10. Do not use in areas where flammable substances such as gasoline, paint or other flammable liquids are used or stored. 11. The appliance becomes hot during operation. To avoid burns, do not touch hot surfaces. Turn the appliance off and use the handles when moving the heater. 12. Do not use this appliance to dry clothes. 13. Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation. 14. Do not insert anything into the ventilation or exhaust openings, as this may result in electric shock, fire or damage to the appliance. 15. Do not immerse the appliance in liquid or allow liquid to enter the appliance, as this may create a risk of electric shock. 16. Do not use this appliance on a wet surface or in any place where it may be dropped or subjected to water. 17. Do not reach for this appliance if it has been dropped into water. Unplug this appliance and immediately unplug it from the wall outlet. 18. Do not use this appliance if the cord or plug is damaged, or after the appliance has malfunctioned, been dropped, or damaged in any way. Contact a qualified electrician for examination, adjustment, repair, or servicing before further use. 19. Do not use this appliance when your hands are wet. 20. This appliance is intended for household use, not commercial or industrial use. 21. Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Any other use is not recommended by the manufacturer and may result in fire, electric shock, or injury. 22. One common cause of overheating is the accumulation of dust and lint inside the appliance. Regularly remove this accumulation by unplugging the appliance from the power supply and cleaning the ventilation openings and grilles where possible. 23. Do not use the appliance in a window, as rain may cause electric shock. 24. Do not connect the appliance to the mains until it is installed in its final location and adjusted to the position in which it will be used. 25. This appliance is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry rooms, or other rooms that may be exposed to moisture, water, or humidity. 26. Turn off the appliance and then use the handles (if available) to reposition it. 27. Do not use the appliance with the cord wound up, as this can cause heat buildup, which constitutes a risk. 28. Using an extension cord with this appliance is not recommended. 29. Do not attempt to disassemble the heater yourself. 30. Do not unplug the plug from the socket by pulling on the cord – grasp the plug. 31. Always turn off the appliance when not in use. 32. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces during operation. 33. Do not hide the cord under carpets, rugs, or runners, etc. Place the cord where it will not be tripped over. 34. Do not touch the metal casing as it becomes hot during use. Keep the heater out of the reach of children to avoid the risk of burns. After switching off the heater, wait several minutes for the heater to cool before storing it safely in its packaging. 35. Do not twist, bend, or wrap the cord around the appliance as this may weaken the insulation and cause it to crack. Ensure that the cord is completely removed from the cable storage area before use. 36. Do not store the appliance in a box or enclosed space until it has cooled sufficiently. 37. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lacking experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the appliance safely. 38. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. 39. This appliance must not be placed directly under an electrical socket. 40. Do not use this appliance with a programmer, timer or other device that automatically switches on the heater, as there is a risk of fire if the appliance is covered or incorrectly positioned. 41. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician in order to avoid a hazard. 42. To avoid a risk due to accidental resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must not be powered through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the mains.
