• Constant and competent supervision of children and disabled persons is required at all times. • Secure all doors, windows, and railings to prevent inadvertent entry into the pool without permission and supervision. • Safety railings can be installed to prevent children and pets from easily accessing the pool. • Assembly and disassembly of the pool and its accessories must be performed by adults only. • Never allow anyone to jump in, dive into, or slide into the pool. • Failure to ensure the pool is set up on level ground may result in collapse. • Do not lean on, straddle, or exert pressure on the inflatable pool skirt, as this may result in injury and water escaping. Do not allow anyone to sit or climb on the edge of the pool. • Store all toys and swimming equipment in and around the pool when not in use. These items may attract the attention of small children. • Keep chairs, tables, toys, and other items that children could climb on at least 4 feet (1.2 meters) away from the pool. • Keep life-saving equipment at the poolside and clearly post emergency numbers on the phone closest to the pool. Examples of life-saving equipment include: a lifeguard-approved lifebuoy with an attached rope and a sturdy, rigid pole at least 12 feet (365.76 cm) long. • Do not swim alone or allow others to do so. • Ensure the pool water is always clean. The bottom should always be visible. • If swimming at night, use adequate lighting so that all safety signs, ladders, and the bottom of the pool are visible. • Do not use the pool if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. • Keep children away from the pool cover to avoid serious injury. • The cover must be removed before use. Children and adults could be unnoticed under the cover. • Do not cover the pool if anyone is using it. • The pool and its surrounding area must be kept clean at all times to prevent injury to pool users. • Keep the pool properly cleaned to prevent water-related illnesses. Do not swallow pool water. Practice good hygiene. • All pools are susceptible to wear and tear. Certain types of excessive and excessive wear and tear can render the product completely unusable. This can result in the sudden loss of a large amount of water from the pool. Therefore, it is very important that you maintain your pool properly and regularly. • This pool is suitable for outdoor use only. • Properly winterize or store the pool when it is not in use for extended periods, such as during the winter months. See the "Winter Preparation" or "Long-Term Water Storage and Drainage" sections. • While the pool is in use, you will need to operate the filter pump to ensure that all the water is filtered at least once a day. Check your pump manual for the appropriate pump operating hours. SAFETY BARRIER AND POOL COVERS ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR CONTINUOUS AND COMPETENT ADULT SUPERVISION. IGNORING THESE WARNINGS COULD LEAD TO PROPERTY DAMAGE, SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE RULES COULD LEAD TO PROPERTY DAMAGE, SERIOUS INJURY OR EVEN DEATH. Advice: Pool owners should comply with local laws regarding child-safety fences, safety barriers, lighting, and other safety requirements. Customers should contact their local building management for detailed information. General • Inspect bolts, screws, and/or caps for rust and sharp edges, especially on accessible surfaces, to avoid injury. Non-swimmer safety • Continuous, active and vigilant supervision of weak swimmers and non-swimmers by competent persons is required at all times (remembering that children under five years of age are at greatest risk of drowning). • Designate a competent person to supervise the pool during use. • Weak swimmers or non-swimmers should wear a life jacket. • When the pool is not in use or unsupervised, remove all toys from the pool and surrounding area to avoid attracting children. Safety devices • It is recommended to install a barrier (and secure any doors or windows involved) to prevent unsupervised use of the pool. • Barriers, covers, alarms or similar devices are useful but are not a substitute for continuous and competent adult supervision. Safety equipment • It is recommended to keep safety equipment (life buoy) by the pool. • Keep an emergency telephone and a list of emergency telephone numbers near the pool. Safe pool use • Encourage all users, especially children, to learn to swim. • Learn basic first aid and refresh this knowledge regularly. This can make a huge difference in your life in the event of an emergency. • Instruct pool users, especially children, what to do in the event of an emergency. • Never dive into shallow water. This can lead to serious injury or death. • Do not use the pool under the influence of alcohol or medications that may impair your ability to safely use the pool. • If a pool cover is in place, remove it completely before entering the pool. • Protect pool users from water-related illnesses by keeping the pool clean and hygienic. • Keep chemicals (water treatment, cleaning and disinfection products) out of reach of children. • Portable ladders should be placed on a level surface. • Read and follow warnings and signs on the pool wall.
