WARNING When installing and using this electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following: IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS READ AND FOLLOW ALL WARNING: • The water heater must be inspected before each use. Follow the instructions in the instruction manual when carrying out inspections. • The water heater must be powered by a residual current device (RCD) with a residual current not exceeding 30mA. • The wall power supply should be located more than 4m (13.1') from the pool and at least 1.2m (3.9') high. • Live parts, with the exception of those supplied by extra low voltage not exceeding 12V, must not be accessible to persons in the pool; Parts containing electrical components, except remote controls, must be placed or secured so that they cannot fall into the water. • ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD - The water heater must not be used when people are in the pool. • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. • Extension cords must not be used. • Do not bury the cord. Position the cord so as to minimize the possibility of damage by lawnmowers, pruners and other equipment. • The water heater must not be placed or left in a temperature lower than 10ºC / 50ºF ~ 38ºC / 100ºF. • It is essential that the plug is accessible after the pool has been set up. • Before using the water heater, check that the pool has been filled with water. • Pool heaters are designed to be used in a specific amount of water; check that the Water Heater is suitable for the amount of water in your pool, with a water flow rate suitable for the Filter Pump or Sand Filter. • RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK - The equipment must be installed at least 2 m (6.6') away from any metal surfaces. • The heater must be supplied with an electrical installation with grounding. • WARNING: Always keep the plug dry, connecting with a wet plug is strictly prohibited! • This appliance may be used by children from 8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, only if they are provided with supervision or instructions concerning the use of the equipment in a safe manner and understand the risks involved. Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision. • Cleaning and maintenance must be performed by an adult over 18 years of age who is familiar with the risks of electric shock. • Read the instructions before each use or assembly/disassembly of this appliance. • For electrical safety, this product contains a built-in residual current circuit breaker to detect any leakage current. If the detected current is more than 10mA, the unit will cut off the power supply. In this case, disconnect the product from the power supply and stop using it immediately. Do not reset the product yourself. Contact your local service representative to have the unit checked and repaired. • The PRCD plug must be tested before each use to avoid the risk of electric shock. • Do not connect or disconnect the unit from the socket with wet hands. • Always disconnect the unit: - On rainy days - Before cleaning or other maintenance - When leaving unattended during holidays. • During extended periods when the product is not in use, for example in winter, the pool set should be dismantled and stored indoors. • Keep the instructions in a safe place. It is recommended to refer to the user manual every time the pool is dismantled. • This water heater is only suitable for use with portable pools. Do not use it in permanently built-in pools. Portable pools are designed to be dismantled for storage and reassembled. Permanent pools are built on or in the ground so that they cannot be dismantled for storage. • Never add water to chemicals. Always add chemicals to the water to avoid strong evaporation or violent reactions that could cause dangerous spraying of chemicals. • Electrical installations should comply with national wiring regulations; if you have any questions, consult a qualified electrician. • After 3 to 5 years of use, contact a qualified technician to check the system for safety and efficiency. • Major components of an electrical appliance, such as the heating element, should be checked and (if necessary) replaced by a qualified person. • Handle the water heater with care. Never pull or carry the appliance by the power cable. Take care to ensure that cables are not damaged. Sharp objects, oil, moving parts and hot air should never be allowed near the heater. • This product is not intended for commercial use. IMPORTANT: Using the heater without using the appropriate connection to the mains is dangerous and may lead to irreversible damage to the water heater.
