SAND FILTER PUMP -This sand filter pump is one of the most effective devices for purifying pool water. Sand filters have a long service life, andthe water purification process consists of several effective stages that make the water crystal clear.

HIGH PERFORMANCE– the large diameter of the pump chamber and the efficiency of the pumping mechanism ensurea high water flow rate—up to 11,355 l/h. It will help remove debris floating in the pool.

WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS– the pump’s capacity allows it to be used in pools with volumes ranging from 1,100 to 66,600 liters. It requires a filter media—sand (#20 Silca sand, 0.45–0.85 mm) or highly efficient POLYSPHERE filter balls. Its simple design and straightforward operating principle make it easy to quickly connect the pump to the pool.

VERY EASY TO USE—the pumpfeatures: a sturdy, corrosion-resistant tank with a 6-position valve; the top clamp design allows for 360-degree rotation, enabling easy installation; an easy-to-read pressure gauge; a filter for removing leaves and debris.

-NOTE: The sand filter is intended only for inflatable pools. Do not use it with in-ground pools. A portable pool is designed so that it can be disassembled for storage and then reassembled for reuse. A permanent pool is usually built on the ground or buried so that it cannot be disassembled for storage.
-Always disconnect the unit from the power source before assembly, disassembly, or cleaning.
-The equipment may be used by persons with physical, sensory, or mental limitations, or by those without experience or knowledge, provided they are supervised or have received instructions on the safe use of the equipment and understand the associated risks.
-Children must not play with the device.
-Pumps not marked as freeze-protected should not be left outdoors during freezing temperatures.

NOTES:
-Place the sand filter on a hard, level surface. Ensure that the sand filter is at least 2 meters away from the pool. Keep it as far away as possible.
-Pay attention to the placement of the sand filter and the pool to ensure proper ventilation, water drainage, and access for maintenance work. Never place the sand filter in an area where water accumulates or where many people pass by.
-After installing the unit, the plug must be accessible. The sand filter’s plug should be located at least 3.5 meters from the pool.
-Weather conditions can affect the performance and lifespan of the sand filter; take appropriate measures to protect the sand filter from unnecessary wear and tear that may occur during periods of cold, heat, or exposure to sunlight.
-Before use, check that you have all the components. If you notice any damaged or missing parts after purchase, notify Bestway Customer Service by sending a notice to the address listed in this manual.

-Do not add chemicals to the sand filter.
-When using chemicals to treat pool water, it is recommended to observe the minimum filtration time to protect swimmers’ health, which depends on compliance with health regulations.
-Use only the mounting hardware supplied or specified by the manufacturer when installing the product.
-It is essential to check that the suction inlets are not clogged.
-It is recommended to stop filtration during maintenance work on the filtration system.
-Regularly monitor the filter’s clogging level.
-It is recommended to check the filter’s condition weekly to perform backwashing or cleaning as needed. To ensure clean water, daily filtration for 8 hours is recommended.
-Any damaged component or set of components must be replaced as soon as possible. Use only parts approved by the person responsible for placing the product on the market.
-All filters and filter media should be checked regularly to ensure that contaminants have not accumulated, thereby preventing proper filtration. Disposal of any used filter media must also comply with applicable regulations and laws.
-All safety requirements and recommendations in the operating manual must be followed. The water circulation system installation must comply with European and national/local regulations, especially if it comes into contact with electrical components.
