- Start-up / use: - Place the grill on a stable countertop, insert the drip tray. - Unlock the latch and open the grill using the handle. - If necessary, press the angle button and unfold the grill to the 180° position (open mode). - Close the plates and plug in the plug. - Set the temperature knob to the desired setting – the power light will come on, preheating will begin. - After approximately 5 minutes, the ready light will come on – the grill has reached operating temperature. - Open the lid, place the food on the lower plate using wooden or plastic, heat-resistant utensils. Do not use metal utensils – they may scratch the non-stick coating. - Close the lid (contact mode) or leave the device in 180° open mode and turn food over if necessary. - During operation: a) do not touch the hot metal parts of the device, b) do not move the grill when it is on, c) do not cover the ventilation openings. - Once the desired doneness is achieved, open the lid and remove the food using heat-resistant accessories. - When finishing cooking: a) turn off the appliance and unplug it from the power socket; b) allow it to cool completely; c) empty the drip tray of fat and food juices. Precautions: - This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and over and by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities only under supervision or after having been instructed in its safe use, provided they understand the risks involved. Children must not play with the appliance. - Children under 8 years of age should not be allowed near the appliance when it is switched on, nor should they play with the power cord. - Always use the grill on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials. - During operation, all accessible metal parts of the appliance can become very hot – use only the handle and heat-resistant gloves to avoid burns. - Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is in use. - Make sure that the power cord: a) does not touch hot surfaces, b) does not hang over the edge of the counter, c) is not stretched, kinked or pinched by other objects.
