- USES — The weighted blanket is used to address proprioceptive disorders, which occur, among others, in people with autism, ADHD, or sensory processing disorders. It is also often recommended for insomnia, depression, and anxiety disorders. The sensory blanket stimulates deep sensation, “calming” the nervous system.
- SUPPORTS THE TREATMENT OF INSOMNIA - The blanket provides constant stimulation of the deep sensory system, which significantly helps reduce anxiety and stress levels. It increases the “happiness hormone,” serotonin, and decreases the “stress hormone,” cortisol. - HOW TO CHOOSE A DUVET - The weight of a weighted duvet should be approximately 10–15% of the user’s body weight. If the weight is too light or too heavy, the blanket will not function properly. If your weight falls between the two ranges, it is recommended to choose the heavier version of the blanket.
