Do not allow children to use the filter pump unless they are under constant adult supervision. • Children must be kept at a safe distance from the product and power cords. • Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and use should not be performed by children without supervision. • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and over and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have received instructions on how to use the appliance safely and understand the potential hazards. • Assembly and disassembly only by adults. • To avoid the risk of electric shock, connect the filter pump to a mains socket with a differential switch connected. Contact a qualified electrician if you are unable to determine whether the mains socket is protected by a differential switch. Use a qualified electrician to install a differential switch with a maximum current of 30 mA. • Always disconnect the product when cleaning, repairing etc. • The plug must be accessible after the product has been installed. • Do not bury the electrical cable. Place the cord in a location where it will not be damaged by lawn mowers, hedge trimmers or other garden equipment. • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a qualified person to avoid a hazard. • To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use extension cords, timers or power converters to connect the pump to the power source. Always ensure that the outlet is adequately supplied. • Do not plug or unplug this product while standing in water or when your hands are wet. • The pump plug should be at least 3.5 metres away from the pool. • Place the product away from the pool so that children cannot climb on it and enter the pool. • The filter pump must not be switched on while the pool is in use. • The pump is intended for use with folding pools only. It must not be used to filter water in permanent pools. • To reduce the risk of injury, never enter the pool if the suction strainer parts are loose, broken, damaged or missing. Replace loose, broken, damaged or missing parts immediately. • Do not play or swim near the suction equipment. Your body or hair may become trapped, which could cause permanent injury or drowning. • To avoid equipment damage and risk of injury, always turn off the pump before changing the filter valve position. • When using the pump, be sure not to exceed the maximum operating pressure indicated on the filter tank. • Hazardous pressure. Improper assembly of the tank valve cover could cause the valve cover to blow off violently and lead to serious injury, property damage or death. • The pump is to be used only for the purposes indicated in this manual. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE ABOVE RULES CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS BODILY INJURY AND, IN EXTREME CASES, EVEN DEATH. Always follow the above rules and use common sense when enjoying water fun. Failure to do so may result in property damage, electrocution or other serious bodily injury and, in extreme cases, even death.
