WARNING CONTENT:
- Check that the surface of the sharpener is not damaged - cracks or peeling diamond coating can lead to ineffective sharpening and the risk of injury.
- Make sure you have a stable place to sharpen – it is best to work on a flat, non-slip surface.
- Do not sharpen knives with both hands at the same time - sharpening should be done with one hand, while holding the sharpener steadily with the other.
- Do not use a sharpener on serrated knives (e.g. bread knives) as this can damage both the knife and the moussak.
- Do not use the sharpener on a wet surface - moisture can reduce the grip of your hands and increase the risk of slipping.
- Do not over-sharpen one spot on the blade – sharpening the entire length of the edge evenly will provide the best results.
- If the diamond coating is worn out, replace the sharpener with a new one - worn-out blades can damage the knife edge instead of sharpening it.
